My name is Aäron Bouwman (25). I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2021 in the direction of Jazz. I was taught there by Charly Angenois, Theo de Jong, Jeroen Vierdag, Glenn Gaddum jr. Here I learned a lot about things like technique, hearing and musicality.
During my studies I played a lot with artists such as Yade Lauren, Emma Heesters, Gers Pardoel, Nnelg, Frank McComb and also have my own band: SMANDEM. In my career so far I have gained a lot of experience in the commercial circuit, but also in the jazz scene. This gives me a wide range of experiences that I can share with my student.
During my lessons I am especially curious about my own student and I would like to find out with them what makes them enthusiastic about playing bass guitar. Because of my experiences and interests in many types of music, I believe I can teach students of all ages and levels a lot!
